But, on the other hand, the Titan doesn't really have anything going for him. Just because he was good at sports in high school, he probably assumed that he could make it big in the world. But, of course, he has been reduced to good old fashioned minimum wagin'.
This translates into Unne making a good living as a professor at Melmond University, and the Titan as a pitiful, easily-bribed security guard, barely able to pay alimony, let alone for any decent gems to eat. Who will win the game of life? It should be painfully obvious.
All in all, I have read far too deeply into this.

A nerd vs. giant... First I thought it would be obvious who would win if they fought. But then I remembered that there is nothing that the great genious Dr. Unne do not know. So, without a doubt he knows that Titan likes rubies and is prepared for it. He may never could beat Titan, but he can simply bribe this to give up with a ruby. Ergo, Unne is the winner.
